Start
Project opens project actions, Canvas opens spread size and border controls, Images opens the Photo Library, and Auto Spread opens batch-building controls.
Browse loads a photo folder. Resync reconnects linked photos to the original folder when the browser loses file access.
Save Project creates the dependable portable copy. Browser draft memory is convenient, but it depends on this browser keeping its local data.
Build
Spread mode builds one collage across the whole spread. Pages mode builds separate left and right page collages.
Manual Build uses the column or row count you enter, including numeric counts for tapered layouts.
Auto Build can change layout choices. When Auto Build uses Tapered, the count is forced to Auto because tapered layouts look better when the app solves the count.
Use Build Settings for exact control. Use Auto Build Options to choose which settings Auto Build is allowed to change.
Placement
In Pages mode, Hug Gutter pulls page collages toward the fold, Center balances them, and Hug Outside moves them toward the outer edge.
Top, Center, and Bottom control vertical placement for spread and page collages.
Fit recenters the workspace and resets canvas panning. Hold Space and drag to move the canvas around the work area.
Photo Library
Clear removes photos from the Photo Library but can leave existing spreads dependent on image files the browser may not be able to reread later.
Auto Spread Build uses unused photos and keeps existing spreads. Use Delete All first when you want a completely fresh automatic album.
Opening or clicking a floating window brings it to the front, like Finder windows.
Export
Use PNG or JPEG for individual spread images, zipped export for batches, separate PDFs for print handoff, or one multi-spread PDF for proofing.
For print albums, inches at 300 ppi and a matching spread preset are the safest starting point.
